AXA Elevate Trauma Insurance

The Elevate Trauma Insurance offered by the insurer AXA will pay out a lump sum benefit amount should the insured suffer one of the covered trauma events in the policy.
AXA’s Elevate Trauma Insurance will pay a lump sum cash benefit to an insured if they suffer one of the trauma events that is listed in the policy and they meet the definition of trauma for payment. Should the policy holder meet the definition for a partial or early payment, they will receive a portion of the total insured benefit.
There are differing types of trauma insurance, including:
- Trauma Insurance as a Plan. In this instance, the trauma insurance may be purchased separately from life insurance cover via the Trauma Insurance Plan and the Trauma Insurance Plus Plan.
- Trauma Insurance as an Option. With this option, the trauma insurance coverage may be bought as an option that is attached to the life insurance cover via the Trauma Insurance option or the Trauma Insurance Plus option.
- SuperLink Trauma. The SuperLink Trauma Insurance Plus or the SuperLink Trauma Insurance may be attached to life insurance cover.
With the AXA Elevate Trauma Insurance plan, the minimum initial sum that is insured is $50,000 and the maximum is $2 million. In most cases, potential policy holders many apply for this coverage as early as age 16.
