Macquarie offers trauma insurance through its Futurewise policy. The trauma sum insured is paid as a lump sum if the person insured suffers one of the trauma conditions listed in the policy documents.

In order to claim you must survive 14 days from the event of medical condition.

This trauma insurance can be taken as a stand alone policy or as an addition to life insurance.
