The Ezicover Accident Income cover from Zurich will pay out a monthly benefit of up to $4,000 if an insured is unable to work in their usual occupation due to an accidental injury.

Zurich’s Ezicover Accident Income insurance cover pays the insured a monthly income replacement benefit should they suffer a covered occupational injury and are thus unable to work in their usual occupation.

The benefit options that are available under the Ezicover Accident Income cover include:

  • Monthly cover of $2,000 up to $4,000
  • Available to those aged 19 to 60 in Australia
  • Benefit payments for up to 12 months
  • A family benefit that may be up to six monthly payments to the insured’s spouse in the event of the insured’s accidental death
  • Tax deductible premiums
  • Worldwide cover
  • First month’s cover free on acceptance

Should the insured be between the ages of 19 and 60 years old, Zurich will pay out a benefit until they are age 65. If the guaranteed renewable option is chosen, once the policy is issued – and provided that premiums are paid when they are due – the company will guarantee to renew the policy until the first policy anniversary date following the insured’s 65th birthday.
