The MetLife Personal Accident cover offers a lump sum benefit covering the insured’s death by accident, as well as accidental injury and loss of independence due to a covered accident.
MetLife’s Personal Accident insurance coverage is a plan of cover that will provide a lump sum cash payout to the insured’s nominated beneficiary should the insured die by accident, or it will pay a benefit directly to the insured policy holder should they suffer an accidental injury that has resulted in the loss of independence as well as a total and permanent disability (TPD).

- Cover protection if any of the following occur – death, accidental death, accidental death in any means of public transport
- Double benefit should an accidental death occur while the insured is traveling as a passenger by public transport
- 24 hour worldwide coverage
The MetLife Personal Accident insurance cover will help in protecting the insured’s family in the event of any of the covered perils that are listed on the policy. Personal Accident cover is available either as an individual policy or as part of a group plan.
